Meet me, Noah. I'm seven years old. I enjoyed summer reading. My favorite prize was the Donkin Donuts coupon. I had fun at the Finale. I liked the free water ice and I met friends, a girl. I love Ms. Rebecca. I wish we did play-doh with summer reading. My toys are Thomas the Tank Engine and I have my football practice at Elon Stars at 6 pm and 8 am. My favorite book is Sponge Bob Squarepants because I like the cartoon - it's on Nickelodeon.

Here are the three Jarmon Sisters! Khalita, Marissa, and Belicia. Last year Khalita won the American Girl Doll Kit Kitteridge in our fun filled Family program promoting the Kit Kitteridge Movie and doll which was raffled off and Khalita won. This year, her youngest sister Belicia won our first Pre-Reader Raffle and went home with two new books!

I went to the mall this week. It was fun. I ate a pretzel and a hot dog. And I went to the Game Stop and played new game. I also went swimming. I'm a really good swimmer. I'm happy that I am at the library today because I haven't been here all week. I want to read books and hang out with my sister and play games on the computer. I also like to meet friends at the library.

I am reading this book called Airhead by Meg Cabot. This book is about a girl called Emerson Watts who was your average high school girl until she brought her sister to a SoHo Enterprise (a modeling industry) grand openning. Her sister was tryin to get the autograph of a famous model called Nikki Howard, the some people who were called protestors because they believed that Nikki Howard shouldn't be famous and that she was influencing the teen mind too much. One of the protestors shot some paint balls at a flat screen tv that was exactly above the head of Emerson's sister (trying to get her book signed) and Nikki Howard was about to fall. Not thinking she ran over and pushed her sister out of the way and the tv hit her instead. Her body got sqashed but her brain was still working and Nikki Howard heart was still working but her brain wasn't so her modeling company payed two million dollars to have Emerson Watts brain installed in Nikki Howards body. Now Emerson has to take Nikki's place she doesn't want to but if she doesn't the two million dollar that SoHo payed to have the brain transplant, her parents will have to pay SoHo back for it. She Knows her parents can't pay it unless the file for bankruptcy so she agrees with them and takes Nikki's place. But she's beggining to see that modeling isn't all it's cracked up to be.

This week I turned 9. On Tuesday I played a game called Boggle. You had to shake the box of letters and form words. I liked it. Today on Friday I made a quilt pot holder. It's made of fabrics of different patterns. You use needle and thread. It is really fun. I just finished a book called ''Princess Chloe and the Primrose Petticoats.'' It was a great book.

It's about these twins who after comming home from camp they are pretty sure they are vampires because they are having and inhuman urge to drink blood. I developed my liking for vampire books after readin the Twilight saga.

Here is the colorful and beautiful cat that adopted Wadsworth Library! She is really sweet and likes people. She doesn't have a name yet, but we would love suggestions. Hi my name is Corzah Alecian Jenkins.I like coming to the libary because,its fun .And ,i get to go to different programs,like Sience in the Summer.I'm was super star in my 4th grade class.Two of my nicknames was ,IC and CC (but don't ask me what the mean). This is my Science in the Summer project. We made this Fading Colors Picture by putting different ocean objects on a blue paper and then setting it in the sun for five minutes. The heat from the sun caused the objects to turn the paper underneath them white.

I like being at the library because I like checking out 15 or more books. That puts a lot of weight on my back but I like to read all my books. My favorite books are graphic novels. I always get a lot of graphic novels. I like most manga books. Manga is a japanese type of book that you read the speech bubbles from right to left. I would recommend these books to the ages on the back of the books.

I'm reading this series called the mediator. It's about this girl called Suzie who can see ghost, Suzie moves to california to live with her mom and stepdad after her dad dies. When she arrives in her room there's a ghost name Jesse living there. At first suzie didn't like Jesse but after he saved her life twice in a row she begins to warm to him, but there's also another mediator who like Suzie can see ghost. He begins to like Suzie but finds out about jesse and isn't too pleased about Jesse.

I was born and sorta raised in Queens,Ny but my baby sister taylor was born in Philly like my dad. Then my family moved to Philadelphia. But my mom thought there was too much violence here so we moved to Lancaster. The only reason im in philly is because I wanted to spend time with my grand mom. Well today I volunteered for the first time. I had to call homes to confirm if the children will attend the Science and the Summer Program on June 29th and 30th. I enjoyed volunteering because it makes me feel good when i do something for my community. Ms. Juanita is a good teacher/librarian and is very helpful for people of ages. She is always finding new ideas to help the library. I hope to continue to work with her and the community.

I've been coming to the library since i was 9 and my favorite series is called 1-800-where-r-you. This book is about a girl named jessica that got struck by lightening, now all she has to do is look at a picture of a missing kid and she knows their exact location. The FBI found out about her 'special powers' and now they want to work for them and help them find some of the most wanted men in America. After her so called rescuing of one kid it turned out didn't want to be found she is not willing to work for the FBI because she's afraid thatthe people who the government are trying to find might not be guilty of the crime they are acused of. Now jessica told the press that she no longer has her 'special powers' but the FBI are on her trail to prove that she's lying.

Introducing the Wadsworth Summer Readers

This summer, we are "Being Creative" at the Wadsworth Branch Library and giving our participants an opportunity to maintain a blog about our Summer Reading Program. We do various activities each day of the week, ranging from playing Wii to watching movies that have been adapted from books to keeping this blog. We also offer prizes for those who participate by reading, coming to the library, and joining in on our activities. We are using this blog as a way for our participants to share a little about themselves and what they are taking from our Summer Reading Program, while providing them with a new way to express themselves creatively. So we hope you enjoy our blogging and continue to follow our blog!
